We have been undertaking a rapid survey of the Accrington Forest to identify the four medieval vaccary farms and other enclosures.  We have identified a number of enclosures similar to those in Pendle and Trawden Forests which we believe are the vaccaries of High Riley, Antley, Baxenden and Cowhouses.
